METAL COAT

Coval Metal Coat is a high-performance anti-corrosion coating that protects all metal surfaces.  Metal Coat covalently bonds with the substrate and with itself to create a barrier with superior resistance to rust, moisture, corrosion, salt-spray, acid rain, UV damage, oxidation, galvanic corrosion, animal and bird-waste damage, wind drag, and dirt and ice build-up.

Coval technology will extend the life of your valuable assets – oil refineries, pipelines, tanks, bridges, trucks, overpasses, transmission towers and the superstructure of ships.

Coval Metal Coat will protect iron, steel, stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized steel, copper, bronze, powder-coated, painted or primed metals.  Think of Coval Metal Coat as armor for your raw or painted metal.

Metal Surface Protection

Train stations, airports, shopping malls, stadiums, and other public buildings face constant wear and damage from human activity. Whether it's dulling shine on a high use brass door or intentional abuse from graffiti vandalism, Coval Metal Coat can help. Coated surfaces resist fingerprints, oils, acids, and paints to protect the underlying surface and make blemishes easy to remove.

Internal Pipeline Coating

Our MC-400 variant is specifically designed to coat the insides of oil, water, and gas pipelines to prevent corrosion in reduce pipeline wall friction.  The coating is extremely tough, resistant to acids, Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) and alkalis. Surface prep can be expedited using our MP-307 neutralizing metal primer to clean and passivate the substrate without the use of acids or phosphates. The coating can then be applied with a pig under low pressure with a reduced need for digging and excavation.

Transmission Tower Maintenance

Current maintenance on transmission towers is slow and labor intensive due to the reliance on 2-part epoxies that must be mixed and painted by hand in small batches to preserve pot life. Coval Metal Coat is a single step solution that can be sprayed on for reduced application and drying time.

Aluminum Corrosion

Aluminum doesn't corrode, right? That's a public misconception and the coatings industry has been trying to figure out aluminum corrosion protection for decades. Coval Metal Coat bonds directly to aluminum, creating a barrier that does not depend on paint, primers, or powder coating to impede the shine and beauty of the surface. We are experiencing amazing results in the boating and automotive industries.
